Guides

Frequently asked questions

What does the free check include?

We read your insurer’s valuation report and show the vehicle, the values it lists, and a list of potential discrepancies by category — for example comparables with very different mileage, price-reduction adjustments, or condition deductions. The details, the comparables table and the draft letter are in the full report.

What does the $79 full report include?

Every finding with the exact figures from your report, what you may ask the insurer to explain, a table of the comparable vehicles and their adjustments, your vehicle’s condition deductions, pre-filled searches for similar vehicles for sale near your ZIP code, and a first-person letter you edit, sign and send yourself.

Do you contact my insurer?

No. You decide whether to send anything. The letter is your own draft — you can edit every line, and you send it yourself.

Which reports can you read?

Insurer total-loss valuation reports from CCC (CCC ONE Market Valuation Report), Mitchell (WorkCenter Total Loss) and Audatex (Autosource). Upload the PDF, or clear photos of every page.

Is the full report available in my state?

The free check works for any state. The full report is currently available in New York, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, Louisiana, Kansas, New Hampshire and Rhode Island; more states are being added.

What if the check finds nothing?

Then we tell you so. Some valuations have no obvious discrepancies, and you may not need the full report.
